Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for Engadine Motor Inn are accepted. By using this Site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted. Your use of some parts or features of the Site may be governed by additional terms and conditions. Where this is the case you will be notified accordingly of those additional terms and conditions:

Arrival & Departure Check-in time is from 2pm Check-out time is prior to 10am. Early check-in or late check-out requests will be catered for depending on availability. A fee may apply for such requests. Please contact our reception staff for further information.

Office Hours: The office is open from 7.30am to 9.30pm. Arrival outside these hours is by arrangement only.

Reservation can be made directly with the motel. All care must be taken to ensure that the information provided to the motel is correct. Only persons over 18 years of age can make a booking. When making a reservation with Engadine Motor Inn, the following details are required:
* Name &Company (if applicable)
* Contact phone number, email or fax.
* To guarantee your reservation you will be asked for your credit card details. The card detail can only be given by the card holder. A pre-authorisation which equivalent to a daily room tariff is required and will be pre-authorised at the time of booking. A pre-authorisation is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit / debit card. The pre-authorisation is NOT a charge. Please note this process validates the presented / given credit card, and protects both the cardholder and merchant.

Quotes and reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of the price, which will be subject to written advice on confirmation of the reservation.

Checking-in: Upon arrival at Engadine Motor Inn Guests must provide valid Federal or State government issued photographic identification for security purposes. In addition, the Guest must also provide a credit card or cash bond in the name of the photographic ID to secure the accommodation.

Payment for all accommodation must be made in full upon arrival, unless a mutual agreement is made. Incidental charges are due prior to departure. Overdue and recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid at that time. Provision of credit card details is the authority to debit any payment owing.

Group Bookings All group bookings require an email or fax in addition to a credit card to confirm the booking. The cancellation period will vary according to type of booking. Please ask our reception staff for further information.

Accepted Methods of Payment We accept cash, MasterCard, Visa & American Express. For American Express cards surcharges may apply.

Rates & Minimum Length of Stay Requirements our rates vary by room types and the day of the week. Weekends are always in high demand. During periods of high demand or major events we may apply a SURCHARGE or a requirement for a Minimum Length of stay. You will be advised of this at the time of your reservation.

Cancellation Policy If a confirmed booking is cancelled:
Any cancellations within 24 hours of check in time and 48 hours of check in time during weekend forfeit full amount of the total cost of the accommodation including no show.
Please note: If cancelling a booking by email, do not consider the booking cancelled until we acknowledge the cancellation by return email.

Non-arrival Should you fail to arrive on the scheduled day of your reservation, your room will be held until the following day in case you have been unforeseeably delayed and are unable to contact us. A fee equal to one night's accommodation will be charged to your credit card. Should you not arrive the next day your reservation will be cancelled and an additional night's accommodation will be charged to your credit card (unless we can re-let that room for the night).

Shortened Stay After check-in, should you shorten your stay, you will be charged a minimum of one night's accommodation unless you are able to give us 24 hours notice as per our cancellation policy.

Additional Guests Unless otherwise specified most accommodation rates quoted are based on double occupancy. There is usually an additional fee for extra guests (but only to the maximum occupancy of the room). The accurate recording of guests per room is required for the purposes of our emergency evacuation procedures.

Non Smoking Rooms: We expect our guests to respect the freshness of our non-smoking rooms.
* Guests who smoke in our rooms contrary to our No smoking rule will be charged a cleaning fee of an extra one night's accommodation at full rack rate. The advertised rack rate is on our website www.engadinemotorinn.com.au
* A cleaning fee will be charged without further notice to your credit card or account with us should it be found that smoking has occurred in the room.
* The cleaning fee will cover the cost of shampooing carpets and soft furnishings, cleaning curtains and washing down walls.
* The room may also withdraw from the letting pool for a period of 24 hours to allow for cleaning and airing.
* Guest who wishes to smoke should do so outside of their room and use the ash trays provided.

Fees and Charges Guests are required to provide a credit card imprint on arrival for incidental charges. Where a credit card is not available a $100.00 cash bond will be required. If in the course of a guests stay, and contributable to any guests or visitors of that room, any unforeseen expenses become apparent the guests credit card will be charged an amount, appropriate to the expense, at a rate determined by the management of Engadine Motor Inn. In the case of a bond, the bond funds will be held in reserve until such time that all costs associated with the said expenses are recovered. Any remaining bond moneys will be refunded to the guest. Fees chargeable to guest accounts include, and are not limited to; * Smoking, room degradation (such as vomit, bodily waste, general damage, any problem sufficient to result in a room being withdrawn from it's availability to be let) - $100, plus a daily room tariff to be advised by the management, in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room is considered to be in a saleable condition. * Lost or stolen keys - $20.00 - Attempts will be made to contact the guest who will be given the opportunity to return keys taken. Failure to do so will result in the fee being charged to their credit card, or bond.

Parking & Vehicles: Onsite parking is available. Please discuss any special vehicle requirements you may have when making your booking to ensure we can accommodate your vehicle.

Noise: For the comfort of other guests and our neighbours we have a strict no noise policy after 10pm.

No Party Policy: This policy is designed to ensure that all our guests can enjoy their time with us and not be inconvenienced through noise or actions others. Any guest failing to comply with this policy may be asked to leave without refund.

Video Surveillance: We are committed to providing a secure environment for all guests to our motel. Our premises and their surroundings are under constant surveillance. Surveillance video is only retained for aspecific period of time except where its retention for a longer period is required to assist the investigation of unlawful, suspicious activities or defence of claims against the motel.

Special Assistance: We aim to do our best to accommodate guests with a disability. We have limited wheelchair access to guest rooms. Most common areas of the motel are accessible by wheelchair. Should you require special assistance of any kind, please let us know in advance so that we can properly assess whether we can accommodate you.

Children: We welcome children of all ages. A baby cot is available upon request (subject to availability).

Pets & Animals: Our motel is unable to accommodate any pets or animals (excluding registered guide dogs for the sight or hearing impaired).

Privacy: Your personal information will be recorded, amended & used by only authorised persons who are required to keep your information confidential. We will never use retained information for any other purpose nor provide it to any other party without your prior permission, except where legally obliged to do so.

Disputes & Claims: Any controversy, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these motel policies shall come under the jurisdiction of the most competent courts in New South Wales.

Changes to Motel Policies: These policies are subject to change without notice - latest update 15 August 2011.
